The ladies of Hearts & Crafts finished the last lap quilts and bed bags for the season. They will meet again in September to work on Matthew’s Hearts of Hope heart pillows.
For June, we will be having our monthly prayer on June 22!
Each month I’ll be leading prayer in a variety of styles, all focused on hearing the Lord in scripture and prayer. This hour is one of many ways we prepare of the leading of the Lord in this time of transition.
We encourage you to reserve this hour of prayer, joining together in praising and seeking the guidance of our Lord.
THE THIRD ANNUAL PERFORMANCE BY ADULT & TEEN CHALLENGE of Moodus, CT., will be hosted Sunday, June 18, by the Sherman Church at the church and at the Sherman Town Beach pavilion. The men will perform and give testimony during the 10 am worship service at 6 Church Road and then present an expanded performance at 1pm at the Town Beach Pavilion. All are welcome at both events.
Sherman and New Fairfield Scouts traveled May 19 to the West Haven VA Medical Center to personally deliver donations.

Members of the Hearts & Crafts group created chemo bags and veterans’ lap quilts, plus 22 pillows for mastectomy/biopsy patients at New Milford Hospital.
THE NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER will be celebrated Thursday, May 4, at the Sherman Church, 6 Church Road. The church will be open for prayer from 9am until 6pm. The public is invited to gather at 6pm for an informal service of prayer for federal, state and local government; military; the media; business; education; church; and family.
